What kind of yoga do we teach?

Our primary teachers at this point of our yoga journey, most of whom have studied yoga for over 30 years, are Rodney Yee, Colleen Saidman Yee, Richard Freeman, Mary Taylor, Richard Rosen, Mark Whitwell and Rod Stryker. They may come from different lineages (Iyengar, Jivamukti, Ashtanga, Viniyoga, Tantra), but all focus on:

Breath. Alignment. Movement. Awareness.

We go deep. We really want you to understand what your body, breath and mind are doing in every moment. Our classes foster concentration and awareness, use your body and bring you to your personal edge, with kindness. We don’t have any “hot yoga” classes on the schedule, but you may certainly get sweaty!

Check out our Testimonials page to see what our students are saying about exploring yoga with us. Many students are telling us that they love our attention to detail and are understanding and inhabiting yoga poses in a completely different way.

Our mission is to bring you yoga with clarity, precision and joy! We want yoga to be as accessible as possible without diluting its potency.

Come on by, check out a few classes and teachers, see if we’re a good fit.

We look forward to meeting you!
